Our Process

Design & Plans

Every successful project must start with suitable design work which satisfies your requirements. If you have your design and drawings already completed then we can move straight to the formal quote stage. However, if you are in need of professional advice we are in the unique position to offer the services of our inhouse design specialist to work closely with you to design your home. Alternatively, we can also direct you to recommended architects and drafts people.

Formal Quote

At the formal quote stage, depending on the scope of the project we will bring together our team of tradespeople (including plumbers, electricians etc) who will come onsite to provide you with a realistic estimation of the costs. Having the trade team onsite provides an opportunity to foresee potential site specific issues that may arise prior to the build thus eliminating any potential extra costs and delays for you the client.

Permits

Depending on the project and location, a planning permit may be required prior to obtaining a building permit. Coastal Builders is able to assist in applying and obtaining both building & planning permits. Coastal Builders works closely with KWA Building Permits and Inspections.

Project Management & Build

Led by Peter Leyden, we will build your individually styled home or extension, with our trade team ensuring the quality of the completed construction. We will provide you with regular feedback to ensure open lines of communication at all times. We will work closely with the relevant parties involved, incuding architects, drafts people, subcontractors and Council, whilst adhering to our rigorous quality and safety standards. Throughout the entire build process, we work exclusively with the homeowner to develop their individually styled home.

The project will be completed on time and handed over to you. We like to keep our lines of communication open once the build is complete.
